Our surgeons handle general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and advanced wound and burn care. Some procedures happen in our outpatient clinic. Others take place at affiliated hospitals like Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. And while our name is new (we became Steele Lake Specialty in March 2024), our surgeons have served this community for years.

I was in a lot of pain. I met with my doctor who advised I see a surgeon. My doctor called Dr. Olaveson and Dr, Olaveson made arrangements to see me immediately. Once I arrived he diagnosed my problem, talked to his staff to see if they would hang around a little longer so I could get surgery that that evening. I was in and out of surgery within a couple of hours. I am grateful for him and his staff taking the time to see me and stay late so I could get my extremely painful issue resolved.

We’re in Suite 206A at 3200 Channing Way in Idaho Falls, inside East Falls Clinics. The entrance is on the south side. Take an elevator to the 2nd floor. Exit the elevator, turn left, and we are just down the hallway.
